This cover has another illustration by Natalia Sorokina, and I think it’s amazing.
I explained a little about Zora’s state of mind, and I think it came out really well. For the pink in the background, I took inspiration from trumpet trees, which are common in South America, and very common in Brazil. I showed her Natalia pictures of those trees as reference. It’s so great so see your character come alive in an illustration, and I think we can really see the change in Zora here.
The plot picks up right where The Curse and the Prince ended, and the characters still have a few challenges to overcome. The games are over and this stakes are higher in this third instalment of this fun enemies-to-lovers YA series.
